Conduct: Robert Hamilton (“Mr R Hamilton”) caused Delting Site Services Limited (“the company”) to conceal the true level of Pay As You Earn and National Insurance deductions (“PAYE/NIC”) from the director’s salaries from HM Revenue and Customs (“HMRC”) between 6 April 2013 and 5 April 2017 resulting in a loss of revenue of at least, £157,424. • During the course of an investigation conducted by HMRC it was found Mr R Hamilton had failed to ensure the company declared director remuneration for PAYE/NIC deductions in relation to the Tax Periods 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17. • During their investigations HMRC established the directors received payments from the company totalling £368,839 which were not declared for PAYE and NIC deductions. • On 12 April 2023 HMRC issued Regulation 80 and Section 8 assessments for the period 6 April 2013 to 5 April 2017, which became due on the 12 May 2023, totalling £157,424, which remained outstanding at liquidation.
