Conduct: Dishad Ahmad Ali (“Mr Ali”) breached his duties as the director of Splash Hand Car Wash & Valeting Services Ltd (“Splash) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • Splash did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of 2 people who did not have the right to work • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) after investigating Splash issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £80,000 in respect of the employment of these workers, payment of which was due on or before 17 July 2024 • Splash objected to the Civil Penalty and after consideration HOIE issued an Objection Outcome Notice (Penalty Maintained), payment of which was due on or before 31 July 2024 • Splash has not paid the penalty due to HOIE • Mr Ali was an appointed director of the company at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation
