Conduct: Hashim Jabar Faraj (“Mr Faraj”) breached his duties as the director of Machynlleth Car Wash Limited (“MCW”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • MCW did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of two people who did not have the right to work • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) after investigating MCW issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £20,000 in respect of the employment of these workers, payment of which was due on or before 08 February 2024 • MCW has not paid the penalty due to HOIE. • Mr Faraj was an appointed director of the company at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation
