Conduct: Ms Mado Kordo (“Ms Kordo”) breached her duties as the director of Woodseat Hut Limited (“Woodseat”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • Woodseat did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of two persons who did not have the right to work in the UK. • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) after investigating Woodseat issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £20,000 in respect of the employment of these two workers, payment of which was due on or before 8 November 2023. • Woodseat has not paid the penalty due to HOIE. • Ms Kordo was an appointed director of the company at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation.
