Conduct: Mr Dorian Talasman (“Mr Talasman”) breached his duties as the director of DTAB Car Wash Limited (“DTAB”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: DTAB did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of seven people who did not have the right to work. Following a visit from Home Office Immigration Officers on 1 December 2022, during which four people were found without the required permissions to work, DTAB was issued with a penalty notice in the sum of £40,000, which remains unpaid; Following a visit from Home Office Immigration Officers on 11 January 2023, during which three different people were found without the required permissions to work, DTAB was issued with another penalty notice in the sum of £30,000, which remains unpaid; DTAB has not paid any of the penalties due to Home Office Immigration Enforcement. Mr Talasman was the only appointed director of DTAB at the times when the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation was breached.
