Conduct: Mr Yahya Taimoori Muhammadi (“Mr Muhammadi”) breached his duties whilst acting as a director of Hairport Barber Prestatyn Ltd (“Hairport”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements, in that: • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) visited the Hairport’s trading premises on 27 January 2025 and as a result, issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £40,000 in respect of the employment of one worker, payment of which was due on or before 14 April 2025. • Mr Muhammadi has failed to provide sufficient records to evidence that Hairport carried out proper checks in compliance with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (“the 2006 Act”) resulting in the employment of one person who did not have the right to work or the right to work for the tasks they were performing. Mr Muhammadi was the sole director of the company at the time of the breaches of the 2006 Act. • On 24 April 2025, HOIE rejected an appeal from Hairport into one illegal worker and the penalty of £40,000 stood, with payment expected on or before 26 May 2025. • Hairport has not paid the penalty due to HOIE and has therefore not complied with its requirements under the 2006 Act. At Liquidation on 29 July 2025, Hairport had liabilities of £43,000, of which £40,000 relates to the outstanding civil penalty.
