Conduct: Mr Edison Prozllomi (“Mr Prozllomi”) breached his duties as a director of D1 Hand Car Wash Ltd (“D1”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements, in that: • D1 did not comply with its statutory obligations under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, resulting in the employment of two people who did not have the right to work in the United Kingdom. • On 28 February 2025, Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) identified that a worker employed by D1 in the tax year 2024 to 2025 had no right to work in the UK. • On 19 May 2025 the Home Office issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £40,000 in respect of the employment of one worker, payment of which was due on or before 11 June 2025. • D1 did not pay the penalty of £40,000 due to HOIE which remained outstanding in full at liquidation on 09 July 2025. • Mr Prozllomi was appointed as the sole director of D1 on 22 May 2024 and remained as sole director until liquidation. • At Liquidation on 09 July 2025, D1 had liabilities of £42,470, of which £40,000 relates to the outstanding Civil Penalty.
