Conduct: Erdene Ouyunbold (‘Mr Ouyunbold’) breached his duties as a director of Gereg Ltd t/as Koi Sushi & Oriental (‘Gereg’) by failing to ensure that Gereg complied with its legislative duties, in that: • Gereg did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of an individual who did not have the right to work in the UK; • Home Office Immigration Enforcement after investigating Gereg issued a Notice of Liability for Civil Penalty of £80,000 in respect of the employment of 2 workers, which was due for payment on or before 10 June 2024; • Following a Notice of Objection the penalty for one of the workers was cancelled, but the other remained, at £40,000; • The Objection Outcome Notice stated that this reduced penalty was due for payment on or before 18 July 2024; • Gereg has not paid the fine due to HOIE; • Mr Ouyunbold was an appointed director of Gereg at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation.
