Conduct: Amandeep Singh (‘Mr Singh) breached his duties whilst acting as a director of Hans Food Limited (‘Hans) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • Hans did not comply with its statutory obligations under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (‘2006 Act’) resulting in the employment of four people who did not have the right to work in the United Kingdom; • On 11 February 2025, after investigation by Home Office Immigration Enforcement (‘HOIE’) officers, HOIE issued a Notice of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £160,000 in respect of the employment of the four workers, payment of which was due on or before 13 March 2023; • Hans did not pay the penalty due to HOIE • Mr Singh was the sole appointed director of Hans at the time of the breach of the 2006 Act.
