Conduct: Lindita Jahaj (“Mrs Jahaj”) breached her duties as a director of Don Don’s Valeting Ltd (“DDV”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: - DDV did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, resulting in the employment of three illegal workers. - Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”), visited DDV on 13 August 2023, and after investigating, issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £15,000 in respect of the employment of one illegal worker, payment of which was due on or before 12 March 2024. - HOIE made a further visit to DDV on 20 February 2024, and after investigation issued a Notice of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £80,000 in respect of the employment of two further illegal workers, payment of which was due on or before 17 April 2024. - DDV has not paid the fines due to HOIE. - Mrs Jahaj was an appointed director of the company at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation.
