Conduct: Mr Sohir Uddin (‘Mr Uddin’) breached his duties as a director of Delhi Spice N Ltd (‘DSN)’ or ‘the Company’) by failing to ensure that it complied with its legislative duties, in that: • DSN did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (‘the 2006 Act’) resulting in the employment of 2 individuals who had breached their work restrictions; • Home Office Immigration Enforcement carried out a visit to DSN’s trading premises on 26 October 2023 and as a result issued a Notice of Liability for Civil Penalty on 09 April 2024, amounting to £20,000 in respect of the employment of 2 workers, which was due for payment on or before 09 May 2024; • The penalty remains unpaid; Mr Uddin was the sole director of the Company at the time of the breach of the Act.
