Conduct: On 03 November 2020, Kiril Vasilev Iliev caused Bachekiko Ltd (“Bachekiko”) to breach the conditions of the Bounce Back Loan ("BBL") facility by applying for a BBL of £50,000 when he knew or ought to have known that Bachekiko was not entitled to the loan as Bachekiko was not carrying on its business on 1 March 2020, in that: Under the BBL scheme businesses were able to apply for up to 25% of their turnover to a maximum of £50,000. Businesses had to be based in the UK and was carrying on its business on 1 March 2020. Bachekiko’s bank statements shows that trading activity commenced from 28 October 2020. Mr Iliev has stated that the company began trading in September 2020. ? Mr Iliev made an application for a BBL of £50,000 on behalf of Bachekiko on 02 November 2020. The BBL funds were paid into Bachekiko’s bank account on 03 November 2020.??? At liquidation, Bachekiko’s sole liability of £38,396 related to the amount owed in respect of the BBL. ??
