Conduct: On 18 May 2020, Mosammat Sabrina Tamannur (“Mrs Tamannur”) provided false information concerning the turnover of Laundry Revolutions Ltd (“Laundry”) to obtain a BBL of £50,000 when she knew or ought to have known that Laundry was not entitled to a BBL of any amount due to trading not having commenced by 01 March 2020. In that: • Laundry was incorporated on 31 December 2019. • Mrs Tamannur was appointed as the sole director from 31 December 2019 to liquidation. • The BBL scheme permitted a loan of up to 25% of a company’s turnover in the calendar year 2019 (or estimated annual turnover from the date it commenced trading if it had been established after 1 January 2019), to a maximum of £50,000. In order to be eligible for the BBL, a company must have been trading on 1 March 2020 and on the day of the BBL application. • Laundry opened a bank account with its bank on or around 18 January 2020, the first credit entry being £50 investment from Mrs Tamannur on 14 April 2020 • The first credit entry in relation to trading was £19.52 on 16 July 2020. • No evidence has been provided to show that trading commenced prior to 01 March 2020. As a result, the Company was not eligible to apply for a BBL of any amount. • On 18 May 2020, Mrs Tamannur applied to the bank for a BBL in the sum of £50,000 stating that the Company’s estimated turnover was £220,000. Mrs Tamannur signed the BBL agreement on 10 June 2020. • The BBL proceeds of £50,000 were credited to the bank account on 24 June 2020. • Accounts for the year ending 31 December 2020 record turnover of £111 for Laundry. Bank statements show the first credit entry being on 16 July 2020 in the sum of £19.52 • Between 24 January and 28 December 2022 the sum of £6,618.24 was paid in respect of the BB
