Conduct: Florenc Sadiku (“Mr Sadiku”) caused Dori Car Hire Ltd (“Dori”) to obtain a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £50,000 and failed to use the funds wholly for the economic benefit of Dori, in breach of the BBL terms and conditions. In that: • The BBL Scheme terms and conditions state that BBL funds are to be used to provide economic benefit to the business and that it will be used wholly for business purposes and not personal purposes. • On 13 August 2020, Dori obtained a BBL of £50,000. • On 21 August 2020, £30,500 was transferred to various parties, including £10,000 to Mr Sadiku, with the reference “SALARY”. • On 24 August 2020, £19,500 was transferred to various parties, including £10,000 to Mr Sadiku, with the reference “SALARY”. • Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2020 show that £18,200 was paid out in director’s, employees’ and subcontractor’s salaries and wages, contrary to the amount paid out from Dori’s bank account. • Dori went into Creditors Voluntary Liquidation on 26 July 2022. • Total liabilities at liquidation amount to £56,323, of which £43,422 relates to the amount owed in respect of the BBL.
