Conduct: Mr Sayed Mahmud Hussain (‘Sayed Hussain’) breached his duties whilst a director of New Curry Lounge (Alfreton) Ltd (‘NCL’) by failing to ensure that it complied with its legislative requirements in that: • NCL did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (“the 2006 Act“) resulting in the employment of 5 people who did not have the right to work or the right to work for the tasks they were performing; • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) carried out a visit to the trading premises of NCL on 05 January 2023 and as a result issued a Notification of Liability for Civil Penalties on 05 April 2023 amounting to £75,000 in respect of the employment of 5 workers, payment of which was due on or before 02 May 2023. • NCL did not make any payments to HOIE in respect of the outstanding penalties. • Sayed Hussain was the sole director of the company at the time of these breaches of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation
