The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 1 January 2019 it is their estimated turnover from when the company started. • HGF was incorporated on 08 November 2019. • On 19 May 2020, Mr Payne applied for a BBL of £50,000 on behalf of HGF, declaring a turnover of £225,000. • Between 08 November 2019 to 19 May 2020, HGF’s bank statements show total credits of £11,343. • HGF’s accounts for the period ended 30 November 2020 show turnover of £29,233. • HGF received the BBL funds of £50,000 on 21 May 2020. • Total liabilities at liquidation amount to £35,232 of which £30,897 relates to the amount owed in respect of the BBL.
