Conduct: Between 11 June 2020 and 17 November 2020, Arash Daryadel (“AD”) caused Pizza Cono Limited (“The Company”) to make wrongful Bounce Back loan (“BBL”) applications for a total of £50,000 when he knew, or ought to have known that the company was not eligible to make an application for a BBL. In that: • The BBL criteria stated, amongst other criteria, that borrowers were required to declare that it was engaged in trading or commercial activity in the UK at the date of the application and was carrying on business on 01 March 2020. • AD has stated that the company was not trading. • On 15 June 2020, the company received £35,000 into its bank account ending 3079. On 17 November 2020, the company received a further BBL top up loan £15,000 into the same bank account. • The director has provided no records to the liquidator to demonstrate the economic benefit gained by the company in spending the BBL funds.
