As a result, it has not been possible to: • Establish whether 33 cash deposits into the company bank account totalling £346,340 were from legitimate business activities; • Establish whether 25 payments out of the company bank account to an unrelated 3rd party totalling £525,000 were for legitimate business purposes. • Establish whether 9 payments out of the company bank account to an unrelated 3rd party totalling £100,000 after the date of the court’s notice of the winding-up order made against the company on 03 March 2021 were for legitimate business purposes • Establish the reason for 119 payments to Mr Zorab totalling £180,287 and as such how these payments would be accounted for in the end of year accounts • Establish why Mr Zorab made 39 transfers totalling £246,920 into the company bank account and as such how these payments would be accounted for in the end of year accounts • Establish the exact amount paid to Mr Zorab by way of remuneration and whether such sums were subjected to proper taxation. During the period, £180,287 was received by Mr Zorab; • Establish the final position of the Directors Loan Account; • Verify if the £50,000 Bounce Back Loan was used for the benefit of the business.
