Conduct: In an application completed on 23 June 2020, Caroline Fogg (“Ms Fogg”) caused inaccurate information to be provided in a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) application made on behalf of Allure Medispa & Laser Clinic Limited (“the Company”), by overstating the Company’s turnover. As a result, on 26 January 2021, the Company received BBL funds of £25,129 that it was not entitled to.  In that:    • Under the BBL scheme businesses could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover. The turnover figure was self-certified by the applicant. The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 01 January 2019 it was their estimated turnover. Businesses which originally borrowed less than the maximum amount available to them under the Scheme were eligible to top-up their original loan, however the total loan amount was not to exceed 25% of the business’s turnover   • The Company was incorporated on 03 October 2017. • The company was established before 01 January 2019 and therefore it was not eligible to estimate the Company’s turnover.   • On 23 June 2020, Ms Fogg applied for a BBL of £20,000 on behalf of the Company. The application form asked Ms Fogg to provide the Company’s annual turnover for the calendar year 2019, or if the business was established after 01 January 2019, to provide an estimated annual turnover from the date the business started. Ms Fogg stated that the turnover for the Company was £240,000.    • Accounts for the financial year ending 31 October 2019 detailed turnover of £82,699. Bank statements between 01 November 2019 and 31 December 2019 show receipts of £16,785. • The maximum turnover of the Company during 2019 was therefore £99,484, with maximum BBL available to the Company being £24,871.    • The Company received BBL funds of £20,000 on 24 June 2020. • On 22 January 2021, Ms Fogg applied for a BBL Top Up of £30,000, with the funds being received on 26 January 2021. • Total BBL borrowing was therefore £50,000, which was £25,129 more than the Company was eligible for.     • Total liabilities at liquidation amount to £79,466 of which £46,594 relates to the amount owed in respect of the BBL.
