The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 1 January 2019 it is their estimated turnover. • BSL was incorporated on 28 September 2017. • Mrs Rathmill applied for a BBL of £50,000 on behalf of BSL declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £200,000 • BSL’s accounts show turnover for year ending 30 September 2019 to be £89,139. • BSL’s accounts show turnover for year ending 30 September 2020 to be £69,184. • BSL received the BBL funds of £50,000 on 11 August 2020. • Total liabilities at liquidation/administration amount to £59,765 of which £43,023 relates to the amount owed in respect of the BBL.
