The company’s financial accounts for the year ending September 2019 declared turnover of £20,708 and for year ending September 2020, £24,865. The company’s bank statements show that in the period 2 January 2019 to 25 December 2019, trade income of £23,537 was received. On this basis, the company was eligible to apply for a maximum BBL of £5,884. On 2 November 2020, Claire Jones applied for a BBL of £24,000 on behalf of Paramed. In order to receive a loan of £24,000, the applicant needed to declare turnover of at least £96,000. On 3 November 2020, BBL funds of £24,000 were received into the company’s bank account. On 29 September 2022, Paramed entered voluntary liquidation with liabilities of £31,491. Of this, £24,000 relates to the BBL, the remaining £7,491 relates to HMRC.

Of this, £24,000 relates to the BBL, the remaining £7,491 relates to HMRC.
