Conduct: Muhammad Shahzad (“Mr Shahzad”) breached his duties as a director of Bespoke Dry Cleaners Limited ("BDC") by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • BDC did not comply with its statutory obligations under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, resulting in the employment of an individual who did not have the appropriate right to work in the UK. • After visiting BDC, Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) issued a Civil Penalty of £15,000 on 1 December 2020 in respect of the employment of one worker without the appropriate right to work, payment of which was due on or before 31 December 2020. • Between 28 April 2023 and 19 February 2025, BDC paid £6,875 towards the HOIE fine, leaving £8,125 outstanding at the date of liquidation. • Mr Shazad was the sole appointed director of BDC.
