As a result, it has not been possible to: 1.1 Determine, in the absence of sales records or bank statements, the total sales made by QPEL during the period or if there were any book debts outstanding at liquidation. 1.2 Verify what purchases were made from any sales proceeds, or if they were for the benefit of the company. 1.3 Verify the extent of the HMRC liabilities of which VAT of £74,040.25 was assessed as being owed by HMRC due to QPEL failing to make 9 quarterly VAT returns. 1.4 Identify if QPEL had any assets at liquidation. 1.5 Verify the reasons for insolvency.
