Conduct: On 12 May 2020, Liam Mark Mullen (“Mr Mullen”) caused or allowed Edie Fabworx Ltd (“the Company”) to breach the conditions of the Bounce Back Loan ("BBL") facility by applying for a second BBL of £50,000. As a result, Mr Mullen caused the Company to obtain BBL’s totalling £100,000, when the maximum available under the scheme was £50,000.   • Under the BBL scheme businesses were able to apply for up to 25% of their turnover to a maximum of £50,000. Businesses which originally borrowed less than the maximum amount available to them under the Scheme were eligible to top-up their original loan, however the total loan amount was not to exceed 25% of the business’s turnover. Only one loan was available to businesses.     • Mr Mullen made an application for a BBL from Bank A of £50,000 on behalf of the Company on 07 May 2020.       • Mr Mullen caused or allowed a further BBL application for £50,000 to be made on behalf of the Company from Bank B, on 12 May 2020.     • A declaration was made during the BBL application from Bank B confirming that this was the Company’s only application for a BBL, when Mr Mullen knew or ought to have known that that was false, having made application for a BBL from Bank A 5 days previously.    • On 13 May 2020, the Company received BBL funds of £100,000 in total, £50,000 from each of Bank A and Bank B.  • Total liabilities at liquidation amount to £783,425 of which £76,231 relates to amounts owed in respect of the 2 BBLs.
