Conduct: On 01 July 2020, Payal Khanna (“Ms Khanna”) allowed RRPS (London) Limited (“RRPS”) to breach the terms & conditions of the Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) scheme by overstating its turnover when she knew or ought to have known that RRPS was not entitled to a BBL of £50,000 based on its turnover. In that:- • The Bounce Back Loan criteria allowed a company to borrow between £2,000 and a maximum of £50,000 based on 25% of the company’s turnover for the 2019 calendar year. • RRPS was incorporated on 21 September 2016. • On 21 June 2020 Ms Khanna’s co-director applied for the BBL. In the application form the turnover for 2019 calendar year was stated to be £300,000. • The BBL of £50,000 was paid into the company bank account on 02 July 2020. • A review of the company bank account for the 2019 calendar year shows no trading income paid in, on that basis RRPS would not have been eligible for a BBL.
