Conduct: In October 2020 Sehnaz Teladia (“Mrs Teladia”) caused Teladia Consultancy Services Limited (“TCS”) to make a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) application of £46,375 when she knew, or ought to have known, that the turnover of TCS supported an application for at most £22,741. As a result, the company obtained £23,634 more than it was entitled to from the BBL scheme in that: • Under the BBL scheme businesses who were established and operating before 1st March 2020 could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover. The turnover figure was self-certified by the applicant. The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019. • TCS was incorporated on 13 January 2016 • On 14 October 2020 Mrs Teladia applied for a BBL of £46,375 on behalf of TCS declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £185,500. • TCS received the BBL funds of £46,375 on 16 October 2020. • TCS operated one known bank account in 2019 which shows for the period 1st January 2019 to 31st December 2019 total receipts of £90,965. • Total liabilities at liquidation amount to £63,097 of which £46,537 relates to the monies owed in respect of the BBL.
