Conduct: On 02 June 2020 and 13 November 2020 Linas Sakavicius (“Mr Sakavicius”) caused Linas Logistic Services Ltd (“Linas Logistic”) to apply for a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) totalling £50,000 by making a wrongful declaration by overstating Linas Logistic’s turnover, as a result Linas Logistic has received more funds than it was entitled to from the BBL scheme. In that: • Linas Logistic was incorporated on 27 May 2015. • A business could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover in calendar year 2019. • On 2 June 2020 Mr Sakavicius obtained a BBL of £45,000 and stated the annual turnover for Linas Logistic for 2019 was £200,000. • On 13 November 2020 Mr Sakavicius obtained a BBL Top-up of £5,000. • Bank statements for the year 2019, show a turnover of £39,427 into the company bank account meaning Linas Logistics was eligible for a BBL of at most £9,857. • On 03 June 2020, a BBL of £45,000 was paid into Linas Logistic’s bank account. • On 17 November 2020, a BBL Top-up was paid into Linas Logistic’s bank account. • On 13 September 2022, Linas Logistic entered Creditors Voluntary Liquidation with known liabilities of £56,936, of which £50,936 is owed in respect of the BBL.
