Conduct: Mr Jacek Sierota (“Mr Sierota”) caused Ksawex Transport Ltd (“KT”) to apply for a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £49,350 using overstated turnover figures, which resulted in KT obtaining a BBL that was £39,646 more than it was entitled to. • Under the BBL scheme businesses could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover. The turnover figure was self-certified by the applicant. The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 1 January 2019 it is their estimated turnover. • KT was incorporated on 5 November 2014. • Mr Sierota applied for a BBL of £49,350 0n behalf of KT declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £204,569. • Bank Statements show turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £38,814. • KT received the BBL funds of £49,350 on 29 May 2020. • At the date of the Liquidation on 20 February 2024, a total of £50,052 was owed to creditors, of which £48,423 was in respect of the BBL.
