From at least 7 December 2014 to 7 March 2018, Mr Babar failed to ensure that the company declared all of its takings and as a result the company failed to account properly and accurately for its Value Added Tax and Corporation Tax liability, which resulted in an additional liability to HMRC of at least £1,321,268 in Value Added Tax and in addition to a further £995,931 in Corporation Tax. HMRC’s claim totalled £2,657,969
