Conduct: Ion Fera (“Mr Fera”) caused I.F Trans Limited (“IFT”) to breach the conditions of the Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) Scheme by overstating annual turnover in order to obtain a loan of £50,000, when he knew, or ought to have known, that IFT was not eligible for a loan of that amount, in that : • The BBL criteria allowed a business to borrow between £2,000 and up to 25% of the company turnover (up to a maximum of a £50,000 loan) • On 22 May 2020 Mr Fera applied for a BBL on behalf of IFT and stated on the BBL application form that IFT’s turnover was £200,000 • IFT’s end of year accounts for the period ended 31 October 2019 show turnover of £48,308. • On 25 June 2020 IFT received £50,000 in respect of the BBL, and this remains outstanding in full at the date of liquidation
