Conduct: On or around 29 October 2020, Navinder Singh (“Mr Singh”) caused CC Windows & Doors Ltd (“CCWD”) (“the Company”) to provide false or misleading information when applying for a Government backed Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) in that: CCWD was incorporated on 28 February 2012. CCWD’s annual accounts for the year ended 28 February 2019, filed 14 January 2021, record turnover as £111,387. CCWD’s bank account shows total income of £115,067 for the calendar year 2019 On 29 October 2020 Mr Singh applied to CCWD’s Bank for a Bounce Back loan of £50,000 stating that the turnover was £267,450 The Bounce Back Loan scheme permitted a loan of up to 25% of turnover for calendar year 2019 up to a maximum of £50,000. Based on CCWD’s income for 2019 it was entitled to a maximum BBL of £28,766. On 30 October 2020 £50,000 was received into the Company’s bank account. CCWD obtained £21,234 in BBL funding to which it was not entitled to. At liquidation a total of £45,573 was outstanding in respect of the BBL.
