Only one loan was available to businesses. • Herberts was incorporated on 30 March 2011. • Mr Jamil’s co Director made an application to Bank A (Lloyds) for a BBL of £50,000 on behalf of Herberts on or around 20 May 2020 declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £518,460. • The BBL funds were paid into Herbert’s bank account on 20 May 2020. • A further BBL application was made to Bank B (Funding Circle) of £50,000 on or around 04 September 2020 with a stated turnover of £600,000. • Mr Jamil’s co Director signed the declaration on the application form and BBL agreement on 02 September 2020 confirming that Herberts had not received any other BBL. • The funds from Herberts second BBL were paid into its bank account on 04 September 2020. • Total liabilities at liquidation amounted to £150,845, of which £27,330 is in respect of the BBL obtained from Bank A and £39,976 is in respect of amount of BBL obtained from Bank B.
