Conduct: Arnel Reyes (“Mr Reyes”) breached his duties as the director of Apo Restobar Ltd (“Apo”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • Apo did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of two people who did not have the appropriate rights to work. • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) after investigating Apo issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £80,000 in respect of the employment of the employment of these workers, payment of which was due on or before 4 October 2024. • Apo has made payments totalling £15,555 toward the penalty. Mr Reyes was the sole appointed director of the Apo at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation.
