Conduct: Rakesh Rattu (“Mr Rattu”) breached his duties as the director of Nova Services Group Limited (“Nova”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • Nova did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of 6 people who did not have the right to work • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) carried out 2 separate visits to the trading premises of Nova with a further breach being reported by the Norfolk Police and as a result 3 Notifications of Liability for Civil Penalties amounting to £180,000 in respect of the employment of 6 workers, payment of which was due on or before 25 October 2024 • Nova has not paid the penalties due to HOIE • Mr Rattu was an appointed director of the company at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation.
