Conduct: Christian Anum Odoi breached his duties as director of Accra Palace Limited (‘Accra Palace’) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • Accra Palace did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 resulting in the employment of two individuals who did not have the right to work. • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) after investigating Accra Palace issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £20,000 in respect of the employment of two workers, payment of which was due on or before 30 October 2023. • Accra Palace has not paid the penalty due to HOIE. • Christian Anum Odoi was the sole appointed director of the company at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation.
