Conduct: Abul Esfar Azad Chuta (“Mr Chuta”) breached his duties as a director of Fusion Spice (Kent) Ltd (“Fusion”) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • Fusion did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 by employing three workers without the appropriate permission: • Following a visit from Home Office Immigration Officers on 2 August 2019, during which this breach was discovered, Fusion was issued with a penalty notice in the sum of £30,000 which remains unpaid; • Mr Chuta was in office as a director of the company at the time of the Home Office visit and remained so until 31 March 2023.
