Conduct: Glynis Voss (“Mrs Voss”) caused or allowed City of Cars Ltd (“City”) to misuse finance facilities between 12 August 2022 and 15 September 2022, resulting in a loss to the lenders of at least £21,661, in that: • City traded as a car dealership which included arranging finance for vehicles between the customer and lenders. • Between 12 August 2022 and 15 September 2022, City received finance from lenders for at least 3 vehicles which were not provided to customers. • The total sum received for these 3 vehicles is £21,660.70 • The lenders for all 3 vehicles have stated that the money was paid to City, however none of the customers received the vehicle which the finance was for. • City subsequently failed to return the funds to the lender, despite the vehicles not being delivered to the customers. • At Liquidation, City had creditors totalling £317,850.68. Of this total, at least £277,195.20 relates to the misuse of the financing facilities available.
