As a consequence it has not been possible to: a) Determine in the absence of sales records and cash books the source of cash deposits received into Alfie’s company bank account totalling £1,635,615 between 01 January 2021 and 28 April 2022. b) Determine in the absence of purchase records and ledgers why funds totalling £5,850,049 were transferred to a company connected by common directors between 01 January 2021 and 04 May 2022. c) Establish the trading of the company after between on or around 09 May 2022 when Alfie’s bank account was frozen and the cessation of trade and when the cessation of trade took place. d) Verify creditor claims totalling £267,902. e) Establish the cause of insolvency. f) Identify the true position in respect of company creditors and debtors.
