In order to be eligible for a BBL of £48,750 a company needed an annual turnover of at least £195,000; • Wallington was incorporated on 14 October 2019; • On 07 June 2020 Mr Hameed applied on behalf of Wallington for a BBL of £48,750, which was received on 22 June 2020. On the BBL application for Wallington Mr Hameed declared a turnover of £195,000; • There is no evidence that Wallington was carrying on business on 01 March 2020. The earliest transaction on Wallington’s bank account was dated 12 June 2020; • Wallington’s accounts show a turnover for the period ended 31 October 2020 of £47,994; • Total liabilities at liquidation were £167,906, including £36,030 in respect of the BBL obtained.
