As a consequence, it is not possible to: • Explain cash withdrawals from the company bank account totalling at least £647,829, and verify whether those funds were used for genuine business purposes; • Determine why sales income totalling £10,162 generated through an online food delivery account in A&Y Foods’s name were transferred to an unknown bank account and the purpose of the fund transfers; • Determine the accuracy of Mr Yildiz’s claim of £5,926 in the liquidation of A & Y Foods; • Determine the true cash income and expenditure of A&Y Foods; • Determine whether A&Y Foods should have been registered for Value Added Tax, an if so, calculate the total liability due and payable to HM Revenue & Customs (“HMRC”). • Calculate the total liability due and payable to HM Revenue & Customs in respect of Corporation Tax; • Determine when A&Y Foods ceased trading and the reason for its failure.
