Conduct: On 11 September 2020, Abigail Sara Goddard (“Miss Goddard”) caused or allowed ASG Modelling Limited (“ASG”) to breach the terms and conditions of the Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) scheme by overstating estimated turnover, resulting in the company receiving a loan of £50,000 which was more than it was entitled to, in that: • Under the BBL scheme businesses could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover. The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 01 January 2019, it was 25% of the estimated annual turnover from the date the business started. • ASG was incorporated on 10 July 2019 and began trading around that time. • On 11 September 2020 Miss Goddard applied for a BBL on behalf of ASG and stated on the BBL application form that the company’s estimated turnover for first 12-months of trade was £250,000. • ASG’s bank statements for the period between 23 October 2019 to 11 September 2020 (the date of the BBL application) show turnover of £32,055. • On 14 September 2020 ASG received £50,000 in respect of the BBL, which was £41,986 more than it was entitled to. • ASG entered liquidation on 22 June 2023 with liabilities of at least £43,355 which relate to the BBL.
