As a result, the Liquidator has been unable to: Verify the nature of the Company’s income and expenditure. Verify the source of payments totalling £1,178,364.69 coming into H&P’s bank accounts. Verify the validity of dividend payments of £151,000, listed on the bank accounts as J Lennon dividends, for the period 01 July 2019 to 02 March 2022. Explain or verify expenditure from H&P’s bank accounts totalling £1,133,964.11 and whether it was expended for legitimate trading purposes of H&P. Establish the true liabilities owed to HMRC (which HMRC estimates at £319,423), employees and other classes of creditors.
