Conduct: On 08 September 2020 Victor Postica (“Mr Postica”) caused Postica Trans Ltd (“PTL”) to apply for a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £50,000 using an overstated turnover figure, which resulted in PTL obtaining a BBL that was more than it was entitled to. In that: • Under the BBL scheme businesses could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover. The turnover figure was self-certified by the applicant. The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 1 January 2019 it is their estimated turnover. • PTL was incorporated on 03 December 2018. • On 08 September 2020, Mr Postica applied for a BBL of £50,000 on behalf of PTL declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £200,000. • Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2019 show a turnover of £17,276 which covers off the period from 01 January 2019 to 31 December 2019. Based on this turnover figure, PTL would have been entitled to a maximum of £4,319 of BBL funds • PTL received the BBL funds of £50,000 on 11 September 2020. • Total liabilities at liquidation amount to £48,892 of which £41,611 relates to the amount owed in respect of the BBL. Pre-liquidation £9,882 of repayments were made towards the BBL
