Conduct: I overstated the turnover of City Of London Therapy Centre Ltd ("COL TC") on its application for a Bounce Back Loan ('BBL')resulting in the company receiving a BBL of £35,000 when it was only eligible for a loan to a maximum value of £2,690 as detailed below:• The BBL scheme terms allowed businesses to receive a loan of up to 25% of their annual turnover for the 2019 calendar year, which the applicant would self-certify when completing the BBL application. • COL TC was incorporated on 19 July 2018. • I declared on the company's BBL application form an estimated annual turnover of £142,000 for 2019. • On 25 August 2020, COLTC received a BBL of £35,000. • COLTC company records for the period 01 January 2019 to 31 December 2019 show receipts totalling £10,760 meaning COL TC was eligible to apply for a BBL of £2,690. • The overstatement of turnover totalling £131,240 meant that COL TC received £32,31 0 more than it was entitled to from the BBL scheme. • At liquidation, COLTC had liabilities totalling £50,393.77, of which £32,812.86 was owed to the bank in respect of the BBL.
