Conduct: On 8 September 2020, Jasprit Singh Narle (“Mr Narle”) caused Viss Tools Limited (“VISS”) to apply for a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £50,000, Mr Narle knew or ought to have known Viss was not entitled to, in that; • Under the BBL scheme businesses could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover. The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 01 January 2019 it is their estimated turnover. Businesses established after 1 March 2020 were not eligible for a loan under the BBL terms. • VISS was incorporated on 12 April 2018 and commenced trading on 1 May 2020. • VISS filed dormant accounts for the years ended 30 April 2019 and 30 April 2020. • VISS filed micro company accounts for the years ended 30 April 2021 and 30 April 2022. • Payments into the company bank account from the date the account was opened on 23 July 2020 up to 1 March 2020 totalled £0 which supports the submitted dormant accounts. • On 8 September 2020 Mr Narle applied for a BBL in the amount of £50,000 on behalf of Viss, declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £300,000. • VISS received a £50,000 BBL on 10 September 2020. • VISS’s liabilities at liquidation were £914,989 of which £35,350.70 relates to the BBL as VISS made some repayments.
