The turnover figure required was that of the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 1st January 2019 it is their estimated turnover. • David & Raisa was incorporated on 2nd January 2018. • Mr Ghinea was a director from Incorporation to Liquidation. • Following an application made by Mr Ghinea in which he declared turnover of £220,000, a BBL of £50,000 was received by David & Raisa on 26th May 2020. • Accounts to year end 31/01/20 show turnover of £90,087 and accounts to year end 31/01/21 show turnover of £93,468. • Based on the turnover stated in the accounts to year end 30/01/20, the maximum BBL that David & Raisa was eligible for was £22,521, which is £27,479 less than the £50,000 that was obtained. • Total liabilities shown in the Statement of Affairs at liquidation amount to £48,000 all of which is due to the bank who loaned the BBL.
