Conduct: Mr Iftehar Ahmed (‘Mr Ahmed’) breached his duties whilst acting as a director of AK Touchstone Limited (‘AK Touchstone’) by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • AK Touchstone did not comply with its statutory obligations under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 (‘IANA’) resulting in the employment of two persons who did not have the right to work in the United Kingdom; • Home Office Immigration Enforcement (‘HOIE’) officers after investigating AK Touchstone issued a Notice of Liability for a Civil Penalty in the sum of £30,000 in respect of the employment of the two workers, payment of which was due on or before 04 April 2023; • AK Touchstone did not pay the penalty due to HOIE; • Mr Ahmed was in office as an appointed director of AK Touchstone from the date of incorporation on 07 September 2017 and at all times to including liquidation on 04 October 2023 including at the time of the breach of IANA legislation.
