Conduct: Puneet Sachdeva (“Mr Sachdeva”) breached his duties as a director of A&P SUPERSTORE LIMITED ("A&P") by failing to ensure that it complied with legislative requirements in that: • A&P did not comply with its statutory obligations under The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006, resulting in the employment of an illegal worker. • After investigating A&P, Home Office Immigration Enforcement (“HOIE”) issued a Notification of Liability for a Civil Penalty of £15,000 in respect of the employment of an illegal worker, payment of which was due on or before 01 November 2019. • A&P has not made any repayments against the HOIE fine. • Mr Sachdeva was an appointed director of the company at the time of the breach of the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality legislation.
