Conduct: On or around 19 October 2020 Ms Krishna Parmar caused KP Vision Ltd (KP) to apply for a Bounce Back Loan (“BBL”) of £50,000 using overstated turnover figures, which resulted in KP obtaining a BBL that was £42,534 more than it was entitled to, in that: • Under the BBL scheme businesses could apply for a loan of between £2,000 and £50,000 subject to a maximum of up to 25% of turnover. The turnover figure was self-certified by the applicant. The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 1 January 2019 it is their estimated turnover. • KP was incorporated on 11 July 2017. Ms Parmar was appointed its sole director. • On or around 19 October 2020, Ms Parmar applied for a BBL of £50,000 on behalf of KP declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £200,000. • Accounts for the years ended 31 July 2019 and 31 July 2020 show turnover was £14,735 and £27,048 respectively. • An analysis of the bank statements for calendar year 2019 shows income paid in totalled £29,863. • Based on the 2019 calendar year income, KP was entitled to a BBL of £7,466 at most, therefore obtained £42,534 more than it was entitled to. • KP received the BBL funds of £50,000 on 19 October 2020. • Total liabilities at liquidation amount to £44,479 of which £43,379 relates to the amount owed in respect of the BBL
