The turnover figure required was that for the calendar year 2019 or where a business was established after 1 January 2019 it is their estimated turnover. • A.S Sons Ltd was incorporated on 8 April 2015. • On 1 June 2020, Mr Ali applied for a BBL of £50,000 on behalf of A.S Sons Ltd declaring that its turnover for the calendar year 2019 was £225,000. • Bank analysis shows that total credits totalling £50,598 in 2019. • A.S Sons Ltd received the BBL funds of £50,000 on 3 June 2020 • Between 14 July 2020 to 15 July 2020, payments totalling £37,033 were made to the previous director and appear to not have provided economic benefit to the company. Total liabilities at liquidation/administration amount to £90,502 of which £48,415 relates to the amount owed in respect of the BBL.
